Connectivity requirements to use Google Play

For Google Play to work optimally, from launching the Google Play Store app to downloading and installing Android apps, you need strong Internet connectivity on your device. You can connect to the Play Store using a wireless network or via mobile data connection. If the data connection is strong and network is configured correctly, you will be able to use and download from Google Play.

Please note: Since you will be downloading apps directly to your device from your phone or tablet's Internet connection, there is no need to connect your device to your computer via USB cable. Your device needs one of the two types of connectivity listed above to download Android apps.

Signs that you’re having connectivity issues

There are a few common signs that your device is not properly connected to a mobile data network or Wi-Fi, and any of these could affect your ability to access Google Play:
  • Downloads never start or are stuck at 0%
  • Downloads work over Wi-Fi but not your network connection (or vice-versa) - this indicates a connection issue with the channel unable to download
  • You receive persistent server errors
  • You can't sign in to Hangouts or Google Talk apps on your device
  • Google Play is stuck on "Loading..." upon launching the Google Play Store app
  • Problems with Google sync

Troubleshooting connectivity issues

If you're experiencing one or more of the issues above, the problem is related to your connection, so you'll need to contact either your mobile service provider or your internet service provider.

To troubleshoot an issue with Wi-Fi yourself, you'll want to ensure firewalls are not blocking access to ports required to use Google Play (TCP and UDP 5228). Otherwise, for general connectivity troubleshooting, try restarting your device (turning it completely off then back on) as well as switching in and out of your device's airplane mode.

Hello Sakshi, I think this is due to cache problem so I would recommend you try clearing the google play cache and then check.

If you don't have idea- how to clear cache : http://www.how-android.com/thread-tips-h...play-cache
