Nexus 4 cannot connect to any wireless network
#1

I have had the nexus 4 for a month and have not had any problems. Now I cannot connect to any wireless network it says obtaining IP address and then says avoided poor Internet connection.

I have several devices connected to my network which is Unlimited Bell Wi Fi. I do not want to go to factory settings but I guess I will have to if I need to.

Any ideas to fix this problem?

Thanks.

It sounds like you've tried this on some networks other than your Bell network. But just in case you haven't yet, I recommend checking to see if it can connect when you try the wifi somewhere else, such as at a friend's house or at a local library. If it connects fine in those other places, that's a good indication that your problem is specific to your Bell connection and not a general problem with the device's wifi.

If you have access to the wifi router where you're having trouble connecting, consult its manual and double-check that you have its security settings set up correctly. I also suggest that you follow the manufacturer's instructions for updating the wifi router's firmware (the software that the wifi station uses to run itself) to the most up-to-date version.

One other quick and easy thing to try is starting your device in safe mode (instructions and info here) to test if any app you've installed is somehow interfering with our wifi operation. If you don't experience the problem while in safe mode that's a good indication that an app you've installed is the source of your issue.

if your problem is still persisting then it may be router issue.

Thanks
